Michelle`s Kitchen & Table in Burlington

Service was great. I had the burger and fries. My burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were the best I've ever eaten. They are cooked in a truffle oil...need I say more. Oh, the burger came with homemade pimento cheese. I don't usually like pimento cheese but this recipe was delicious. My boyfriend had the chicken and waffles. He ate every crumb. Chicken was crispy and juicy and also came with cooked apples. We also had a red velvet cheesecake which topped off our dining experience. We will be back! I highly recommend.

Hosted a baby shower at Michelles’s for family. Michelle provided the finger foods. They were absolutely amazing!! Everyone loved the chicken salad, artichoke dips, spinach dip, and the fruit and veggie trays were fantastic!! The wait staff was super and the service was excellent! I would highly recommend Michelle’s!!

Oh my goodness. If you are looking for extremely good quality food, this is it. Even the cocktail (a Dark and Stormy) was fabulous. We found this place and so so glad we ventured in. Chicken and waffles, burger and steak were great. Waitstaff was also very knowledgeable and friendly....wow!!!!

A constructive feedback..The food and ambiance is exceptional. All the workers are highly friendly and enthusiastic, except the cashier who enters your order into the system. I've been there multiple times already but unfortunately that person always has an attitude. For the last two times (including today) I'm getting a salad for my lunch and asking for an extra chicken which I'm always willing to pay for. However even though I get charged, I never receive the extra. Also, blaming the kitchen for the mistake when you enter wrong on the ticket in first place is not helpful for the business.Thanks to everyone else besides though. The others are doing a great job along with the kitchen!

Pricy but has excellent food. Restaurant is well maintained and clean. It's a great place to go!

Price not an issue; however using the same plate for an appetizer is poor quality, appetizer was mixed up, rather than a clean plate they just swapped the food, left crumbs and previous sauces on the same plate. Later asked server "Taylor" if we could order a side and fries with an entree and his reply was "I don't know how to ring that up". Food would have been better if service experience was better. Pitiful service.

My husband and I went last night for the first time! We had the scallops as an appetizer and they were amazing! We split the duck breast (cooked to perfection) and the burger with truffle fries. All of the flavors were so complimentary. The richness of each dish was never overwhelming and always well balanced with some type of acidic element on the plate. We will definitely be returning! SO delicious!

Definitely one of the top three places to eat in Burlington. They also have fresh seafood/steak, sides, and desert that you can take home and cook. Great service, food, and atmosphere make this place great!

My wife and I really enjoy this place. Hard to find atmosphere, selection, variety, service, quality, and refinement without heading to the big city - and not a chain! Comploments to the chef every visit.

We have been going to Michelle's Kitchen for years (before they were a restaurant)! 😍 We used to load up on their pre-cooked meals before we went camping to make our vacation more enjoyable and care-free. Their food is consistently very well made with wholesome ingredients, which is why we've always been a patron. From take-home salads to appetizers, main dishes with great seasoned sides and even desserts!!! I love the addition of their restaurants since they moved to their new location. Service has always been kind, helpful and polite.

If you want comfort food with flair, this is the place!

The only very good restaurant in Burlington, NC. Other places are ok/not bad, but Michelle’s Kitchen has a certain quality and flavor you typically don’t find in Burlington.

Mostly spend time having a beverage at the bar with Deedee... Food comes out lovely and hot... Probably one of the better wine selections in town

Service was excellent. Alston was knowledgeable and friendly. The pimento cheese balls were heaven. We chose the special of pesto grouper. Prepared well tasted great. I would request the restaurant include a good portion of vegetables or a salad in the entree price. The grouper stated it was served with zucchini when there were just a few slices in the tasty sauce. The bill for two with wine, one app (4 cheese balls) 2 grouper entrees was about $100. A side should come with entrees at that price. We left hungry.

Eating at Michelle's is always a treat, whether it's a quick sandwich for lunch, a ready-made meal to go, or sitting down for an evening dinner. Hands down, my favorite restaurant in the area! Everything is always delicious, and so fresh. I really admire that they support the community and use locally sourced ingredients.

Had high Hope's for this place, food was not as exciting as I had heard. Customer service was average. Food is priced high. I see the appeal but could use some work.

Excellent service, couldn't ask for a more friendly well informed staff! I had several questions about the prepared meals and they tasted exactly as they were described! The entree and the sides were excellent and I would recommend them to anyone! I will be making regular visits there for more meals that are made fresh there daily!

Had an anniversay dinner and will most definitly be back. Only complaint was they ran out of lamb! I ended up ordering the filet and was not disappointed.

This is the nicest restuarant in Burlington, top notch service, food, drinks, everything was outstanding! Just know going in you don't get this kind of service, and food for what you might pay elsewhere, it ain't cheap. It's not for everyone, but it's very good. I would recommend you go there on a very special occasion.

I was given a gift certificate to Michelle's and was really excited to try it again. Today, the smell of fish as soon as we entered should have sent my husband and I right back out the door! We stayed, and now the fish is staying with him even though he ordered a Turkey Reuben! Obviously the turkey was prepped in the same area or warmed on the same flat top as the fish. Only the last 2 bites of his Reuben seemed off, but YUCK! I ordered a Smashed Avocado BLT which was served on delicious bread, but that and the bacon were the only parts with any flavor. The aioli was oily, the lettuce was not only wilted but tasted like dirt (I had to remove it), and I had to apply salt frequently. It's a pretty place but not one we will likely visit again.

This was my first time trying Michelle's and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was attentive, the hostess was friendly and the food was excellent!

Just stopped in and ordered a ribeye with shrimp. It was phenomenal! Cooked perfectly! Melted in my mouth! The restaurant is immaculate with crisp white tablecloth’s and superior service. They earned five stars tonight!

Michelle's is a great place for a great meal, friendly service and quiet atmosphere. We also enjoy grabbing dinner at the bar, since their bartender is the best in town! The food is always fresh and exciting with local ingredients and new combinations. Hands down one of the top restaurants in the area and beyond!

It was the worst experience I have ever had. I have never felt discriminated until today. I went in with my family around 4:50pm and the first thing the server told us was that they were booked when it was pretty clear that they were not.

Very good place, limited menu, but good overall presentation.
